GLHF
Description
GLHF is a Denver based dance music trio, formed by Ricky Moyte, Dante McCluskey, and Jesse Griboski. The trio partnered with Patchwork to create a manageable and unique visual identity. Our goal was to create an identity system that was repeatable without being repetitive. Together, we executed their logo and cover art, successfully ran a guerrilla marketing campaign to generate buzz for their first release, shot and released three videos, and most of all had Fun

Patchwork teamed up with GLHF to create a repeatable system for creating covers and visualizers. Meant to be used for releases, creating a bold and cohesive look for the group without being pinned down to a template.
Our goal was to create a system for generating as much cover art as the group could possibly need, in a way that was repeatable and affordable. With smaller artists, paying hundreds or even thousands of dollars per release becomes unsustainable quickly; So we needed to circumvent that issue. Our solution was controlled chaos.
Using a single piece of imagery: we distorted, destroyed, cut/pasted, recolored, and blended the logo. Colors were chosen for boldness, contrast, and visibility. Ricky, one of the members of GLHF, is slightly colorblind. We used this as part of the identity.
